#OctTwtFest 2011

Last night I swung by this certified biggest twitter meet-up in the world by Guinness. It was a crowded meet-up with lots of chicks no doubt. Unfortunately my gut isn't tight enough to get any numbers...

Moving Target

Sometimes, no matter how you try to avoid it, the red arrow will always find you. You tried to elude it, deflect it, and even denied to yourself that it was coming for you.

Were you given a choice before it shoot you? Sometimes yes, but for me, no. It looks like it was a punishment. I was a moving target.

Right after it struck you, you fall sick, weakened, and miserable. The whole world isn't matter to you anymore. The whole world feels empty. You were left with your own battle cry. You were on a losing side.

The poison quickly sipped throughout all your body's nerve, your lung, and your brain. It intoxicate your every moves, decision, and thought. It fills up all your mind and heart.

There's no cure for this. You just have to wait for another red arrow that will hopefully thwart the poison of previous arrow.

De-dusting This Blog

Well, well, well. Look who’s here. After the longest time without a word. What? You expect me to just forgive you? After you left me here, in the rai…

=== Cut the crap! ===

Yeah this blog might be correct. I haven’t been blogging here. Purposely. I had no little time, or too little word to write, except about my damn self.

So to sum up, here’s what I’ve been through this past couple of months (years?).

  1. I switched to the cult of Apple by getting myself an iPhone 3GS (it changed my life, forever) on december last year, as well as porting my number to DiGi (what a disappointment).
  2. I’ve been confirmed into Groupon as a Project Specialist, after working with GroupsMore since last year, which consequently leads to point 3…
  3. Says.MY team split out and moved out from our current office. No more geek jokes. Sigh.
  4. Getting myself a brand new VANS, like finally. Poor Crocs.
  5. Lastly, checkout my new project: Microtheme and Unsetup

P/S: Remember last year’s resolution? Yeah 2 project already up and running. 1 project had been on hold since last year due to production limitation.

P1Wimax - No Frills Broadband

2 weeks ago me and my housemate decided to apply for broadband, since we've been living out of connection since I moved in. Before this I often had to go somewhere to surf using public WiFi and get home late.

We went to Lowyat Plaza to search for the best broadband to apply. The first booth we asked were the P1TSTOP at 1st level. We asked to check for coverage first, only to found out the the nearest access point is just 80 meters away from our unit. We decided to apply for it on the spot since the activation fee was just RM100. Plus they're having 50% off for first 3 months.

The salesman asked us to wait for 2 hours before account activation. 2 hours later we got home and voila, we've been connected out of the box. We even don't have to wait for another 24 hours considering it was on weekend.

And thus far, I've satisfied with the services. Its still smooth till this day. I'm no heavy downloader, or youtuber, or online gamers and this package was just nice to my needs.

P/S: There's a reason for fair usage policy. Approximately 1% of all broadband user consumes more than 30% of total bandwidth. If you think this is fair, you must be a dicktator or something.

PP/S: I've had past experience on so-called 'most popular broadband'. 2 months of wait before being connected.

Exceptional Inception

Just back from 1Utama watching 'Inception' with YA teammates. My take on it? Go watch it. If you had to spend your last 10 buck of the month, go for this movie. No regret.

** Spoiler ahead **

It's a movie about a bunch of people who can get into each others dream. The best part is where they go into 4th level deep of dream. Sounds crazy? Wait until you see it on your nearest cinema.

After watching it, I resist to watch other movies cause I want to keep the excitement of this movie.

Now I can't just wait to go back and sleep and enter my dream.

Summerbreak Pangkor Trip

It's been 5 years since I last went to an island. I even tweeted how I jealous by those who had their island vacation that time.

This trip was just in time and a wonderful one, because the participant comes from different background as it was open for public.

Pangkor is a beatiful island, eventhrough can't be compared to other island such as Perhentian or Redang. I had been to Pangkor quite a few times before.

I had persuade some others to went to Teluk Segadas, a virgin beach located deep behind jungle. Also, we went snorkeling at an overcrowded place left us disappointed.

The best moment was where I had fun chat and playing 'mafia' on beachside with a group of chinese chicks from Klang ;)

Can't wait for Summerbreak vol. 2!

Ps: Write this while driving on highway back from hometown.

De-hiatus

There's so much updates I want to post here. But things had been bumpy last months. For instance, I attended several high-profile events such as Barcamp, WordCamp, WebCamp, I took a life-changing career path, which leads to some great events I involved in, and many more. Soon, I'll try to spend some time like this to write them off.

FYI, this was posted via email, using my loyal Nokia 5310. Cool, eh?
